What is Block Blast?

Block Blast is a block placement puzzle game where you slot Tetris-style shapes onto a grid, aiming to complete full horizontal rows and vertical columns that clear automatically. Unlike Tetris, there is no time pressure and pieces do not fall from above - you choose where to place each shape at your own pace, making it a more contemplative puzzle experience. Tips for Lasting Longer

Look at all three available pieces before placing any of them. The pieces you place early affect which spaces are available for the pieces you place later in the same set. Sometimes a piece that seems awkward to place in isolation fits perfectly when considered as part of a three-piece sequence. Rotate your thinking about the grid regularly - rows and columns are equally valuable, and focusing exclusively on one orientation causes you to miss opportunities in the other. When the board is becoming crowded, prioritise clearing space over maximising combo potential.
