Study the patterns of both before moving, identify safe windows to cross exposed areas, and time your movements to stay in the blind spots between sweeps and patrols. Crack safes to collect the level's primary objective and reach the exit before your time window closes.

Reading Security Patterns

The core skill in Heist Escape is reading and memorising security patterns. Camera sweep timing, guard patrol routes, and the specific blind spots in each system are all observable and learnable. Experienced players develop a habit of watching a full cycle of each security element before attempting to move through its coverage area. Rushing through before you fully understand the pattern is the most common cause of avoidable alarms. Patience during the observation phase pays dividends in execution.

Safe Cracking and Secondary Objectives

The safe cracking mechanic in Heist Escape provides a mini-puzzle within the larger level puzzle. Cracking a safe typically requires holding position in an exposed location for a fixed duration, which requires timing your arrival to coincide with a safe gap in security coverage and maintaining that gap long enough to complete the crack.
