What is Poppy Playtime?

Poppy Playtime is a first-person horror adventure set in the abandoned Playtime Co. toy factory, where something has gone terribly wrong with the animatronic toys that once entertained children. As a former employee returning to investigate, you use a GrabPack device with extendable mechanical hands to solve puzzles and interact with the environment while avoiding the factory's murderous occupants - most notably Huggy Wuggy, the company's mascot who is considerably less friendly than advertised.

How to Play Poppy Playtime

Navigate the abandoned factory in first-person perspective, using your GrabPack to grab distant objects, pull levers, complete electrical circuits, and solve environmental puzzles that unlock progress deeper into the facility. Pay attention to the environment for clues about what happened to the factory workers and where you need to go next. When monsters are present, stealth and environmental awareness are essential - making noise or entering sight lines triggers pursuit sequences that require outrunning or outmanoeuvring your pursuer to survive.

The GrabPack Mechanics

Its extendable hands can reach objects and mechanisms far beyond normal arm length, enabling puzzle solutions that require creative use of range. The left and right hands can be used simultaneously on different objects, which some puzzles require - holding one mechanism in place while activating another with the second hand.
